Shreya Patel is the founder and creative force behind Shreya Petals®, a wardrobe design and costume company built on precision, storytelling, and adaptability. Through Shreya Petals, she brings clarity, creativity, and technical excellence to every project—no matter the scale, timeline, or budget.

Where does the name come from? - Shreya S. Patel (Indian culture your dad's name would be your middle name) my dad grew up here and decided not to do so but instead give us a middle initial. Petals is an anagram for the "S. Patel" part of my name. Always loved a floral aesthetic since i was really little so it felt right and then came the most important part of branding. The name is officially trademark!

Working across film, theater, live performance, and fashion-forward productions, Shreya is known for her ability to translate character, movement, and narrative into wardrobe that is both visually striking and deeply functional. Her approach is rooted in intention rather than excess, allowing her to create impactful designs whether building from the ground up, transforming existing pieces, or crafting inventive solutions under tight constraints.

About me

Early Career experience was mostly administrative but being able to utilize what was learned in those settings in the Wardrobe/Costume/Fashion worlds has helped tremendously set me a part from others. As far as creative process; I have been building and altering costumes and clothing since I was a child; very grateful to be able to do what I love for a living.
